Jay Maciejewski, Vice President Global Services Business Development, PCTEL Inc.
Maciejewski has played a key role in growing PCTEL’s engineering services business since joining the company in 2012. Prior to joining PCTEL, Mr. Maciejewski served in engineering director or management roles for major wireless carriers, neutral host firms, and consulting organizations. Responsibilities for engineering and operations spanned from multi-state regions to larger North American and global geographies. He has over 20 years’ experience in the wireless industry, having worked on many emerging technologies, solutions, and deployment strategies. His experience encompasses all stages of network development, from initial launch to mature network support and expansion.
Maciejewski has worked on tower and macro networks, Wi-Fi, small cells, and distributive antenna systems for both indoor and outdoor applications. He has served as a technical advisor on projects to provide alternative wireless coverage solutions to remote or high capacity sections of towns or subway systems and in-building coverage to buildings, stadiums, and convention centers. Notable examples include the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority, the Central Artery Tunnels, oDAS deployments in Montreal, New York, Providence, Boston, and Chicago, recent Super Bowls, MLB stadiums, hundreds of university stadiums and campuses, and iconic properties like Shedd’s Aquarium, Willis Tower, and the Empire State Building.
Maciejewski studied Electronics Engineering at New England Institute of Technology and has participated in numerous certification and technological training sessions.
