The In-Building Wireless Association (TIWA) is redefining how the real estate and wireless industries connect, collaborate, and innovate. Founded by Ezra Hug—who previously launched the Northeast DAS & Small Cell Association (NEDAS)—TIWA builds on a legacy of fostering dialogue at the intersection of wireline and wireless infrastructure.
Mission and Vision
TIWA’s mission is to serve as a regional, grassroots forum that educates and connects major commercial real estate verticals—such as government, healthcare, hospitality, stadiums/arenas, and data centers—with the wireless industry and converged technologies. The association provides a neutral, professional space for learning, networking, and workforce development, championing the convergence of real estate and wireless as the “Fifth Utility”.
TIWA’s focus bridges commercial real estate development with wireless technology and includes:

- Wi-Fi
- Private LTE/CBRS
- IoT
